ALEKSANDRA is an award-winning writer/director and a successful visual effects artist. Her debut feature 'Dolls Can't Cry' together with her short films have been screened and awarded prizes at over 70 film festivals worldwide.
Her most recent short film 'Last Day of Summer' was awarded by Young Artist Academy in LA (also known as 'Kiddies Oscars') for Best Performance in a Short Film / Young Actor and won Best International Short Film award at the Afrodite Shorts in Rome. Previous films 'My Friend Ivor' was awarded for Best Modern Slavery Film and nominated for National Film Awards (UK), while 'Brothers' was a finalist of Sundance London Short Film Competition and won prizes at several mental health film festivals.
Visual effects credits include top rated TV series and films such as Outlander, Fear of the Walking Dead, Victoria and Suburbicon. She has been awarded an Emmy Award for her work on David Attenborough series received two further nominations.
Her latest feature film project was selected for development programmes run by Sources 2 and the Andrzej Wajda Studio and has support from the Polish Film Institute for further script development. It was also shortlisted by Sundance Script Lab. Aleksandra is currently looking for directing jobs in film, commercials and TV.
